Okay, I have to say up front that Balboa Park is one of my favorite places on earth which is part of what drew me to this image. I have been there many times, but never have I seen it like this. That's what I love about this capture - it's very creative and unique. It forces me to imagine this place in another way, which I appreciate. I love this gorgeous shot! I mean, really, how often to you think of a tunnel as gorgeous? Ryan has certainly achieved that here.  The warm and glowing colors are so pleasing and make this image stand out against the rest. What a beautiful and colorful work of art! The many flowers and trees look so gorgeous up against the old building. The tone and texture of this shot are exceptional, but my favorite is the POV. Very creative and interesting to look at! Thanks Hendrik for your submission - I hope we see this in the final round!
